Jeanette-Louise Yaryan , Pianist

Jeanette-Louise Yaryan has been entertaining audiences since she was three years old. Studying classical piano from that point forward, earning public adoration, numerous awards, and scholarships along the way. Always interested in diversity, even from a young age, Yaryan also plays jazz, sacred, theatrical, rock music, and is in high demand as a collaborative pianist. In addition to performing, she also composes and arranges music for a variety of settings, including an arrangement of Frank Zappa's polymetered, "Big Swifty," for The Definiens Project's featured performance in a documentary film about the composer.

Yaryan is currently completing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Southern California, studying piano with Norman Krieger and composition with Morten Lauridsen. She is also on the board of The Definiens Project, and joined the group in 2005. In her free time she enjoys all things culinary, travel, and downhill skiing.
